Sun & Moon—Crimson Invasion
Battle Tips

Take a look at several fun strategies you can try in your next deck featuring cards from the Sun & Moon—Crimson Invasion expansion.

Regice, Regirock, and Registeel

The classic trio of Regice, Regirock, and Registeel returns in the Sun & Moon—Crimson Invasion expansion! With all three Basic Pokémon in play, you can cause some serious havoc.

1. Put Registeel in the Active spot.

2. Play Regirock and Regice onto your Bench.

3. Attack with Registeel's Iron Hand attack for 100 damage and heal 30 damage from Registeel.

Need help powering up Registeel's Iron Hand attack? If you're behind in Prize cards, play Counter Energy to add two Energy of any type to the Iron Pokémon.

Strength through Silvally

With multiple Ultra Beasts roaming the Pokémon TCG landscape, it can be difficult to know which one you'll play against. Fortunately, Silvally-GX and two Pokémon Tool cards can be the answer to most of the threats these powerful Pokémon impose.

Against Nihilego-GX or Buzzwole-GX, attach Psychic Memory.

Against Guzzlord-GX, attach Fighting Memory. Silvally-GX also has a Weakness to Fighting, so this Pokémon Tool comes in handy when two Silvally-GX face off.

With the right Memory attached, Silvally-GX can easily Knock Out any of these Pokémon in one hit with Turbo Drive!

Efficient Evolution

Get a speedy start to your game with a nifty Evolution technique using Karrablast and Shelmet. You can even use it on your first turn, when you otherwise can't evolve your Pokémon.

Use Karrablast's Shell On Ability and discard Shelmet from your hand.

Search your deck for an Escavalier to evolve Karrablast.

If you didn't go first, you can now attach a single Metal Energy to attack with Fury Attack, potentially doing as much as 90 damage on your first turn.
